EPIC is a musical based on Homer's The Odyssey, currently in writing production by Jorge Rivera-Herrans, who frequently shares his progress in videos via TikTok, along with gradually releasing his concept album grouped into nine EP's or "sagas". As an introduction to the costume design process, the musical thus far was chosen as inspiration for drawing illustrated designs for 4 of the major characters; those being Odysseus (main character); Penelope (Odysseus' wife), Circe (the witch on Odysseus' journey), and Antinous (lead suitor/main antagonist).

AntinousBelow is a link to one of the TikTok videos used as a reference for this design. This costume serves as an "evil twin" version of Odysseus' appearance, by also taking inspiration from other fictional villains– one in particular was Ozai from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
